FitStamp ("we", "our", or "the app") is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy outlines how your information is handled when you use the FitStamp mobile application for Android.

            Key Summary: FitStamp is an offline-first app. We do not operate remote servers to collect, store, sell, or analyze your health or personal fitness logs. All manual and generated workout records are saved locally on your device and synced directly with Android's Google Health Connect platform under your permission.
        

1. Information We Access & Process

A. Health and Fitness Data (Google Health Connect)

FitStamp connects to Google Health Connect to record exercise, physical activities, and sleep. We request read and write access for the following Health Connect permissions:

Steps: To log step counts associated with manual and bulk walk activities.
Distance: To record physical distances traversed during walking, running, and cycling sessions.
Exercise Sessions: To save active workout sessions (Walk, Run, Bike) with accurate timestamps and durations.
Sleep Sessions: To record sleep duration and bedtime intervals.

B. Local Storage (On-Device Room Database)

Your logged activities, custom input preferences (e.g., last-used steps, distances, min/max bounds for bulk generation), and sync state history are stored securely on your local device using Android's Room SQLite database. This data never leaves your device unless you explicitly export or clear your application storage.

C. In-App Purchases & Billing

FitStamp offers an optional Pro subscription via Google Play In-App Billing, facilitated by RevenueCat. RevenueCat collects non-identifiable purchase transaction tokens and anonymous app user IDs strictly for validating subscription status. RevenueCat does not receive, access, or process your fitness, health, or sleep data.

2. How We Use Your Data

The information processed by FitStamp is used solely to provide core application features:

To record manual fitness and sleep entries into your personal Health Connect ecosystem.
To generate bulk historical workout and sleep logs at your direction.
To preserve your activity preferences and preset boundaries across app restarts.
To verify subscription status for Pro features.

3. Google Health Connect Privacy Policy Compliance

FitStamp strictly complies with the Google Health Connect Permissions Policy, including the Limited Use requirements:

No Transfer to Third Parties: We do not sell, rent, lease, or transfer your Health Connect data to data brokers, advertisers, or third-party platforms.
No Advertising: Health Connect data is never used to serve personalized, contextual, or targeted advertisements.
No AI Model Training: Health Connect data is not used to train generalized artificial intelligence or machine learning models.
Minimal Permissions: FitStamp only requests permissions strictly necessary to fulfill its function as an exercise and sleep logging utility.

4. Data Retention and Deletion

Because FitStamp does not store your data on external servers:

Local App Data: You can completely delete all local FitStamp records at any time by going to your Android device Settings > Apps > FitStamp > Storage > Clear Storage / Clear Data or by uninstalling the app.
Health Connect Data: You maintain full control over entries written to Health Connect. You can review, modify, or delete any record created by FitStamp at any time in your device's Settings > Security & Privacy > Health Connect.

5. Children’s Privacy

FitStamp does not knowingly collect or solicit personal information from children under the age of 13. If you believe that a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us immediately so we can address it.

6. Security

All data written by FitStamp is stored using standard Android sandboxing and local encrypted storage mechanisms provided by the Android OS and Google Health Connect. Network communication is limited to encrypted HTTPS calls handled by Google Play Billing and RevenueCat for purchase receipts.

7. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update our Privacy Policy periodically. Any revisions will be reflected on this page with an updated effective date. We encourage you to review this policy periodically.
